Cargill adds texture to the Gulf food industry
MECHELEN, BELGIUM — 18 JANUARY 2008 — In response to the significant growth in the food industry in the Middle East, Cargill is appointing Denis Palacioglu to manage its texturizing business in the Gulf region.
Alex Luneau, Sales Director for Cargill Texturizing Solutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “Cargill’s move in expanding its presence in the Gulf is indicative of the growth in population density and related business opportunities in the Middle East in recent years. This has led to more international and national food manufacturers establishing and expanding their production capacity to meet local and regional market needs.“
